    1. If the certificate has been lost, contact the Department of Basic Education for a replacement, or reach out to [email protected] for assistance.
  • A copy of your South African ID (for South African citizens)
  • A copy of your Passport or asylum documentation (for foreign nationals)
    1. If your passport has expired, please include a copy of the expired passport, if applicable.
  • Indicate the country where the Apostilled Matric certificate will be utilized.
  • Please email the documents to: [email protected].

Processing Times:

  • Standard Apostille: 4 to 7 weeks processing time, excluding weekends, public holidays, and Wednesdays.
  • Expedited Apostille Service: 3 to 5 working days, excluding weekends and public holidays.

This streamlined process ensures that your qualifications and certifications are recognized globally, facilitating your academic and professional endeavors abroad.

  • The verification of your Metric Certificate may require up to 3 to 7 business days to complete.
  • If your qualifications such as degree, diploma, or matric certificates have already been verified by SAQA or UMALUSI, please arrange for us to retrieve them from your location or from SAQA. To initiate the apostille service, kindly email us at [email protected].
  • We do not impose any fees for the collection of documents for apostille services.
  • There are no charges for the apostille itself or for authentication certificates; the only fee applied is for the processing of documents on your behalf.
